Dale spent nine years being trained to quote the same job three different ways.
One price list, and nobody paid to move it
Dale Ivey spent nine years at a national franchise operation. The training was explicit: read the customer at the door, then decide which of three price levels to present. He left in 2016 and started this company on the opposite principle.
Every price we charge is published here. Your technician carries the same list and has no ability to change it. Nobody at Trueline earns commission and nobody is paid more for selling you a bigger job than the one you needed, which is what makes the first sentence possible rather than a claim.
Ten years on it is twenty-two trucks and forty-eight people. That is a lot of people to keep honest. It works because there is nothing left to negotiate — the number is already on the internet.

The part nobody else puts in writing
There is no after-hours rate at Trueline. The figure you see on this site is what you pay at two in the morning on Christmas Day. Every competitor we have in this market charges somewhere between one and a half and two times for those hours.
It costs us money. We do it because an emergency rate is a charge for the customer being in trouble, and once a company decides that is acceptable it tends to decide a lot of other things too.

Somebody who called about this
Water bill jumped from eighty dollars to three-forty and nobody could tell me why. Andre found it in about two hours and taped an X on the tile. Then he said the thing I wasn't expecting — our slab is post-tension, there are cables in it, and he wasn't going to cut it. Ran the new line overhead through the attic instead. I'd already had two quotes to break up my living room floor.
