Six of our prices, and where the rest are

These six are the ones people call about most. All twelve are on the price list, and your technician reads from the same one — nobody at Trueline is paid commission or paid more for selling you a bigger job.

The promises

Five things we will not do differently on a Sunday

01

The price is on this website

Every job we do has a number, and the number is here before you call. Your tech reads you the figure you already saw on this page.

Each one has a name, so you can hold us to it by name.

  1. 02

    Two-hour arrival windows

Booked online in under a minute against the real schedule. You pick the window; nobody calls you back to arrange one.

  2. 03

    You know who is coming

When we dispatch you get a text with your tech, his photo, and his location on a map. Nobody arrives unannounced.

  3. 04

    Photographed before and after

Every job, sent to your phone. You see what was behind the wall and what we left it as, whether or not you were home.

  4. 05

    Shoe covers, mats, cleanup

Covers on before the first step inside, mats down under the tools, and the work area swept before we leave. On every call, including the ten-minute ones.

What we do

Three jobs from this year

With what they cost and what we told the customer. Two of these are jobs we talked somebody out of.

A wall-mounted Navien tankless unit newly installed in a clean 1950s ranch utility room, copper lines and vent run neatly finished.
Navien NPE-240A2 conversionOff Hillsboro Road, Franklin. One day, no wall opened. Permit 26-PL-4471. Tyler Boyd.

Tankless in a 1950s ranch without opening a wall

Two other companies quoted this as a wall-opening job because the existing flue chase looked too tight for the new vent. Tight and impossible are different things. Tyler ran the concentric vent through the existing chase and upsized the gas from the meter in the same day. The customer paid $5,900, which is the number on our website, because the gas line upsizing was never a separate line item here.

Main line backed up on a Sunday night and I'd already decided I was going to get gouged. $189, exactly what the site says.”

Water bill jumped from eighty dollars to three-forty and nobody could tell me why. Andre found it in about two hours and taped an X on the tile. Then he said the thing I wasn't expecting — our slab is post-tension, there are cables in it, and he wasn't going to cut it. Ran the new line overhead through the attic instead. I'd already had two quotes to break up my living room floor.

Third water heater in fifteen years and I finally thought to ask why. Jesse ran a hardness test right there on the doorstep before he quoted anything and showed me the number. Turns out it's the water, not the heaters. Put in a softener and a new tank, and both prices were sitting on their website before he ever knocked. Side effect nobody mentioned: the shower glass stopped fogging up.

I manage eleven units near MTSU so I've been through most of the plumbers in this county. These are the only ones where I can put a number in the budget before I pick up the phone, because it's just there on the site. Luis has jetted four of my mains now. I checked the first two invoices against the website and gave up after that.

Needed a gas line run for a generator. Brandon actually load-calculated the house instead of eyeballing it, and came back and said the existing line wouldn't carry the generator plus the tankless — which is not what the generator company had told me. Pulled a permit, pressure tested it, texted me photos of every joint before he closed anything up. They weren't the cheapest bid I got.

Work was fine and the price was exactly what they advertise, no argument there. Four stars because my two-hour window turned into about three. They did text me twice to say so, I'll give them that, but I'd already burned the afternoon. Would still use them again.

Trueline Care

The maintenance that keeps a Nashville house off our emergency board.

  • Whole-home inspection once a year, written up with photographs
  • Water heater flushed annually — Nashville water is what kills them
  • Softener serviced and the salt checked
  • 15% off every repair
  • No diagnostic fee, ever
  • Same-day priority when you call

$18/mo

or $189 a year · cancel any time, no term

The single most useful line on it is the water heater flush. On limestone water that one visit is the difference between eight years and twelve, and it is the reason this plan exists rather than a discount club.

Water where it should not be?

Call and someone answers now. If it can wait until morning we will tell you that, and the price will not have changed by then either.

Outside booking hours — the line is still answered and the price does not change. Scheduling reopens Saturday at 8:00 AM.

Pipe let go in the crawlspace during the cold snap and half of Williamson County was on the phone to somebody. These guys gave me a two-hour window at nine at night and Tyler turned up inside it. They text you a photo of who's coming, which at that hour I appreciated more than I expected to. Came back the following week and quoted the repipe. Final invoice matched to the dollar.
